Which console, which version, which budget?

Before you write the search, answer three questions. Disc or digital PS5, regular, Lite or OLED Switch, Series S or X? Is a bundle with games worth more to you than a lower price on the console alone? And how far would you travel to collect it? The answers become your search words, your price range and your location, and the mails become far more useful.

Write the version the way sellers do. Indonesian ads often say PS5 fat or slim, Switch V2 or OLED, and many sellers mention fullset when the box and cables are included. Adding such a word narrows the mail to the ads you would really answer.

A paper trail for a parent or a gift

Email suits the buyer who is not in a rush: a parent planning a Switch for a birthday, a student saving for a PS5 over two months. Keep every alert in a folder and you can watch how prices move around school holidays and new releases, then strike when a good one appears. Share the folder or, on Pro, add a second address so a partner sees the same mails.

At the meeting: switch it on

Test before paying. The console should start, show no account still signed in, read a disc if it has a drive, and the controllers should respond without drift. Ask whether it has been modified, since modded units can lose online access. Check the box serial against the console.
