Do you really need to buy that compressor new?

For many workshops the honest answer is no. Air compressors, welding machines, concrete mixers and scaffolding last for years, and in Indonesia they change hands constantly as projects end and businesses move. The catch is that a fairly priced unit is gone in a day or two, often to a buyer who simply saw the ad first.

An email alert gives the person who does your purchasing a steady view of what appears, without anyone scrolling OLX between jobs.

Email suits the way a bengkel or contractor buys

Equipment is rarely an impulse buy. Someone checks the budget, someone else checks the machine. A single mail listing every new match from a check is easy to forward to a partner, print for the office or file under the project it belongs to. Search your mailbox later for „scaffolding“ and you see every offer you were sent and what it cost.

Free and Starter send to one address. Pro sends to three, so the owner, the site manager and the accounts person can all get the same mail. Every mail carries an unsubscribe link, and there is nothing to install.

Testing heavy equipment before money changes hands

Go and see it. Run the compressor until it cuts out at pressure, listen for knocking, and look for oil leaks. Ask a welder to lay a short bead. On a lathe, check the play in the chuck and the condition of the bed. For scaffolding, count the pieces against the seller’s list; incomplete sets are common.

Be careful with sellers who ask for a deposit before a viewing, who cannot show a receipt for expensive machines, or who send a payment link instead of meeting. Agree the price, inspect, then pay.

Getting the first equipment mail into the right folder

Whether a new sender lands in your main inbox is up to your mail provider. When the first match comes, check spam and promotions, mark it as wanted and save the sender. After that, set a filter that moves these mails into an „Equipment“ folder.
