Appliance bargains on eBay, collected in one email

Before you click on a cheap espresso machine from the other side of the world, ask yourself three questions about voltage, freight and returns, and let an email bring you the listings worth asking about.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on eBay, sort by newest

Shape the appliance search on eBay

Go to Home & Garden and the appliance category that fits, or search the exact model, such as a particular stand mixer. Pick condition (new, open box, refurbished, used), a price ceiling, and set item location near you or a ships-to filter for your country. Sort by Newly listed and copy the address.

  3. New listings land in your inbox

    Scan the list that arrives

Each check that finds new appliances sends one mail listing all of them with title, price and a link to the eBay page, plus a photo when the seller included one. No new listing, no mail.

Three questions before a mixer or vacuum crosses a border

First, voltage and plug. Much of North America runs on 110–120 volts, most of Europe and many other regions on 220–240. A kitchen machine built for one can be useless or unsafe on the other without the right converter, and some motors do not like converters at all. The listing or the model number usually tells you.

Second, freight. Appliances are heavy, so the shipping cost to your country can be larger than the discount. Add possible import duties or VAT on arrival before you compare. Third, returns: read the seller’s return policy, because sending a bulky box back is expensive. eBay’s buyer protection exists for orders that go wrong; read its terms for your case.

Where the real appliance deals sit on eBay

Open-box and refurbished listings from sellers clearing stock, and people moving house who list a dishwasher or a range for local pickup, are the corners worth watching. If local pickup is an option near you, setting item location close to home removes the freight problem entirely.

Model-number searches work better than words like „cheap fridge“. Owners of a specific coffee machine know which model they want and which generation had the faulty pump; one search per model keeps each mail short.

Why a mail suits a slow, careful purchase

An appliance is rarely an impulse buy. You compare wattage, check dimensions against the kitchen and look up reviews. A mail that collects every new match from a check fits that rhythm: read it in the evening, open the two candidates, and keep the rest searchable in a folder in case prices move.

Your provider decides where the mail lands. After the first match, check spam or the Promotions tab, mark it as wanted and add the sender to your contacts. An unsubscribe link sits in every mail.

Searches and inboxes per plan

Free: one search checked every 30 minutes, one email address. Starter at $5.99: five searches every 10 minutes, one address. Pro at $14.99: twenty searches, the fastest checks and up to three addresses, so the person who cooks can get the mixer mails too.

❓Frequently asked questions

Does MXSender check the voltage for me?

No. The mail shows title, price and link; voltage, plug and dimensions are on the listing or with the seller.

Can I limit the alerts to items I can collect myself?

Yes, by building the search that way on eBay: item location near you and the pickup option if it is offered. The mail follows your filters.

Will an auction ending send a mail?

No. Mails cover new listings that appear in your search.

Can two people get the same appliance mails?

On Pro, up to three addresses. Free and Starter send to one.

Are old listings included in the first mail?

No. The first check records what the search already shows; mails start with listings added afterwards.
