New eBay listings from your search, sent by email

Your eBay search keeps running while you work, and the fresh listings from it wait in one tidy email instead of a page you forgot to reload.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on eBay, sort by newest

    Shape the search on ebay.com

Type what you want, then narrow it with the left-hand filters: category, condition, a price range, item location or where the seller ships to, and Buy It Now or auction. Change the sort to Newly listed, check that the results look right, and copy the link from the address bar.

  2. Copy the link, paste it into mxsender

Give the link to MXSender and choose email

Paste it on the MXSender website, pick email as the channel and confirm your address. Telegram can be switched on for the same search later if you want a second place to read it. Name the search something you will recognise in a subject line.

  3. New listings land in your inbox

    Read one mail per check

When a check finds listings that were not there before, you get a single email with all of them: the title, the price, a link to each eBay page and a photo when the listing has one. Quiet checks send nothing.

What goes wrong when you only check eBay by hand

The usual mistake is a saved tab. You open it over coffee, scroll past items you already rejected yesterday, and miss the one that was listed at a fair price at 2 a.m. by a seller in another time zone. eBay never sleeps because its sellers sit on every continent, and a well-priced Buy It Now item can be gone before your next look.

An email built from your own search turns that around. You only see what is new since the last check, so a five-minute read replaces the long scroll, and the good listing is still there when you click through.

Why an inbox suits a worldwide marketplace

International buying is slow, careful work: you compare shipping to your country, read the return policy, maybe ask the seller a question. An email is a good container for that. You can file it in a folder, search it next week for a model number, or forward it to whoever shares the budget.

Nothing has to be installed, and one address on Free or Starter is enough. Pro allows three addresses, handy if a partner or a business mailbox should get the same results.

Before you press Buy It Now on an overseas listing

Look at the seller’s feedback score and the most recent comments, not just the percentage. Check the item location and what shipping to your country actually costs, because a cheap price with expensive postage is not cheap.

Goods crossing a border may attract import duties or VAT when they arrive, depending on where you live and what you buy. Read the return policy, and keep in mind that eBay has its own buyer protection for purchases paid through the site, which is a good reason to keep the whole deal on eBay.

Getting the first eBay email into the right folder

Whether a new sender lands in your inbox is up to your mail provider, so after you save the search, keep an eye on the spam or promotions folder until the first match arrives. If it is there, mark it as not spam and add the sender to your contacts; later mails usually follow that choice. Every mail has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

❓Frequently asked questions

Will I get an email for every listing separately?

No. Each check that finds something sends one email listing all of the new matches together.

Does the alert tell me when an auction is ending?

No. It fires when a new listing appears in your search. Bidding, watching and the end time stay on eBay.

How often is my search checked?

Free checks one search every 30 minutes. Starter at $5.99 covers five searches every 10 minutes, and Pro at $14.99 covers twenty with the fastest checks we offer.

Will prices show in my own currency?

The email shows the price the way your eBay page showed it. ebay.com lists in US dollars and may add a local estimate.

Can I change the search later?

Yes. Build the new search on eBay, copy the link and replace the old one in MXSender; the history starts fresh from there.

Do I get a mail about everything already in the results?

No. The first check only notes what is already listed, and you hear about what appears after that.
