eBay bike and e-bike listings, delivered by email

A well-kept bike at a fair price rarely sits on eBay for a week, so get the new listings from your search by email and read them before the weekend riders do.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on eBay, sort by newest

Filter eBay down to your size and budget

Search the model or type, for example a Trek Domane, a Canyon gravel bike or a commuter e-bike, and open the bicycles category. Add your frame size to the search words if the filter is not there, set the condition and a price range, and use item location so the bike is within reach. Choose Buy It Now or auctions, sort by Newly listed and copy the link.

  2. Copy the link, paste it into mxsender

Add the search to MXSender by email

Paste the link on the MXSender website, select email and confirm your address. You can add Telegram to the same search later. Name it with the size, such as „Road bike 56 cm under 900“.

  3. New listings land in your inbox

Get one email when new bikes appear

Each check that finds new listings sends a single email with all of them: title, price, a link to the eBay page and the photo when one is provided. When nothing new is listed you get nothing.

Frame size first, brand second

The most common mistake on bike searches is starting with the brand and ignoring the size. A beautiful frame that is two sizes too big is not a bargain. Put the size in your search words, in centimetres or S/M/L, and the results become short enough to read in one sitting.

Keep the price range honest too. A ceiling slightly above what you want to pay lets you see good bikes whose sellers will accept an offer, while a floor filters out parts and accessories.

E-bikes: battery questions before the money

On an e-bike the battery is often the most expensive part. Ask the seller how old it is, how many charges it has seen if the display shows it, and what range it still gives. Ask whether the charger and keys are included and whether the motor system has had its software updated at a dealer.

Batteries are also hard to post. Many carriers have special rules for shipping lithium batteries, so a distant e-bike may be impractical to send. A seller near you, with collection in person, is usually the simpler deal.

Seeing a used bike before you pay

Where you can, collect and ride it. Check the frame for cracks around the welds and the fork, spin the wheels, try the gears and brakes, and look at chain and cassette wear. Ask whether the bike has a receipt or a frame number you can check, because a bike with no history and a hurried seller is worth a second thought.

If you buy from far away, read the seller’s feedback, look at the shipping cost and how the bike will be packed, and keep payment on eBay so its buyer protection can help if something arrives wrong. Bikes from another country may add import duties or VAT.

Why a bike hunt fits an inbox

You can keep each email, compare three listings side by side and forward one to the friend who knows bikes. Your mail provider decides where a new sender lands, so check spam after the first match, mark the mail as wanted and add our sender to contacts. An unsubscribe link sits at the end of every mail.

❓Frequently asked questions

Can I follow road bikes and e-bikes separately?

Yes, as two searches. Free covers one, checked every 30 minutes. Starter at $5.99 gives five searches every 10 minutes.

How fast will I hear about a new bike?

On your plan’s check interval: every 30 minutes on Free, every 10 on Starter, and the fastest checks on Pro at $14.99.

Does the email include the frame size?

It shows the seller’s title, which often names the size. The link opens the full listing with the details.

Can two people receive the bike emails?

Free and Starter send to one address; Pro allows three.

Will old listings flood my inbox at the start?

No. What is already in the results when you save the search is not sent; only later listings are.
